Introduction
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) collects consumer adverse event reports related to food products through the CAERS program. This article visualizes how frequently specific reactions are reported across broad age groups. Each cell shows the count of distinct event×reaction pairs within an age bracket.

Scope: all available events with usable age. Ages bucketed as Children (0–12), Teens (13–17), Adults (18–64), Seniors (65+).
Counts represent distinct FoodEvent × Reaction pairs. Ages are normalized to years using provided units; events lacking usable age are excluded from the heatmap.
